Another tragic mailbox accident, that could have been avoided if people would just stop messing with the permeability of matter. Won't someone think of the mailboxes?

Obviously this one won't. I don't know if the photo captures just really how profoundly blissful a nap in the garden that was:

Bike safety course time! I remember doing this as a kid. But I've mostly lived in neighborhoods without a lot of kids, so haven't seen this in quite a while. I'm glad to know it continues:

Neither Frances nor I have any idea what these are, but they sure are beautiful:


(First person to say "They're flowers, Bruce" meets my ignore list. :)
And my fascination with rust and decay continues:
