It's no secret, I think, how much the hostile reception that d20 Gamma World got messed me up, and made later stresses all that much harder to bear. I've always wanted to do something with it that would suit my own tastes, since there's so much work in it I really like.
This morning I was reading some discussion of the various GUMSHOE games, and got to mention of the uses of the Quade Diagram in investigating crimes committed via mutant power in Mutant City Blues, and a light bulb went on. In my head there is a world full of mysteries to investigate, in which exotic powers are common, which should be susceptible to some structured analysis...so, you know, I wonder if I could run a satisfying Gamma World campaign that way?
